By Bryan Miller So you’re fat. Big deal. Everyone at some point is caught in the crossfire of the battle of the bulge. It’s a seemingly unending struggle for some, but a quick bout for others. But none-the-less, it is a battle, and a tough one, at that. Sadly, our enemy, the gut that hangs in front of us, is a fierce one, and an enemy demanding respect. Football teams, countries at war, debaters, diplomats, and presidential candidates all know the secret to winning a competition, or bout of any sort. They send out spies, watch tapes of the competing teams, and they research for the knowledge on how to conquer their opponents. They back up their fight with knowledge of the weak points in their enemy, and then… they exploit them mercilessly. This is the approach one must take when fighting the oppression of obesity. It is a battle, for most, and will always be a battle as long as there is too much food, and a lot less work. What I am about to give you are some insider, confidential, key components on fat that you may not know. They will help you win this uphill battle against your ever-growing, always widening waist-line. These are confidential, hard to find tips that will help you know your body’s method of storing fat, and how you can exploit them, use their tactics against them, and ultimately overcome. Stand tall, for you will be the victor. Warning! Do not read if you are looking to lose fat fast and expect to keep it off. These peeks into the human body are meant only for those with the guts (or bellies) to work hard for healthy, effective fat loss, not those wishing to get-thin-quick, and potentially gain more weight back. Although you are the deciding factor of how fast you lose weight, this is merely placing knowledge in your arsenal, not telling you what to do. If you are willing, then continue reading. The next exposing secrets will help you understand your enemy “Fat”, and will further your efforts in weight loss: Peek 1: Why Your Body is Already Perfect.. The body is built for performance. It is a perfect engine that needs admiration for it’s designer, whether you believe it’s God or evolution, studying the body is almost like studying outer space - it is absolutely too complex to take in all at once. It’s a perfect machine that will work exactly how it should, when it should, and without defect. Even when someone thinks something is wrong, the body is working right. This is the difference between the mind and the body. The body never wants, it always needs. The mind wants, but rarely realizes the needs. The body needs fat, but the mind wants the body to look firm, without fat. So to begin creating the body that your mind wants, you must first respect the perfect engine that is the body. Peek 2: Is Fat a Friend or a Foe? Not all fat is bad for you. In some cases, fat is very good for you. There are some vitamins that can only be absorbed when fat is present. Hormones depend on fat a large percent of the time. Women who are nursing, those with broken bones, and new born babies all need fat in some fashion. It’s the amount of fat, and the type of fat that makes it a harm, or a help. Fat around the middle? Bad. Enough said. I do in depth studies, and like to make people scared about having a fat belly at my blog. Mid-section fat is a very scary thing because it is around your vital organs, especially your liver and heart. If these are fatty, you’re more prone to have heart disease, or liver failure. And I think you can agree with me that that is a bad thing. But there is some fat in the body that is needed. Cholesterol in the body can be converted to energy through the liver. And all fat is a source of energy for daily activities. Without fat, you’d be tired, but with too much - well, I won’t go so far as to say you could die young, that would be too scary. Peek 3: How Did This Fiend - Fat - Get There? Fat is introduced into the body at the very youngest of ages. It’s given to us by our mom’s while we are yet alien-shaped fetuses in her body. This is a natural part of life. The only problem is when we get older, we eat way more than our body needs. So when the body (again, that perfect machine that it is) sees all this extra, it goes into performance mode, and stores this extra bit of energy for later as fat. With this in no one’s consideration, however, we continually place our body in that constant mode of “must store”. And our fat cells continue to grow. Then, when they have no more space in which to grow inside these tiny balloons, they multiply. Peek 4: The Invincible Enemy. Once you have a fat cell in your body, you cannot lose them. You can lose the stored triglycerides inside the cell, but never lose the cell itself. Once you’ve got adipose tissue, you’ve always got adipose tissue. There’s not removing it unless you opt for dangerous, health hazardous procedures such as liposuction or a tummy tuck. The fat cells in your body can only shrink. They are your friends for life. And not without giving you a share of trouble, either. Because these new additions to your body now have memory. They realize what they use to have was gone, and they lust after it. Peek 5: Winning the Battle Doesn’t Win You the War. The body has a set method of maintaining itself. It’s complexity and set ways make it almost impossible to lose weight fast and keep it off. Since the body is built for performance, it sets itself at its most desired point, and it expects to stay there. This is why underweight people find it so difficult to gain weight and keep it on. And why overweight people who lose weight quickly, tend to gain it all back. The body’s fat cells, and the body’s desired way of living is actually set. And breaking that pattern too quickly causes the body to “reset” itself to get to that point again. This is why gaining and losing weight is so popular nowadays. Because people want fast results without taking into consideration the perfect engine that is the body. The mind wants it now, because it expects it now. The body realizes that there are needs, and steps, and rules to losing that weight effectively. So now you know the enemy. Now you see what you are up against. You know that your body works perfectly, that fat is only a “side effect” of eating extra calories, and that you can never lose these fat cells. But what now? How do I exploit these new found attributes to the enemy? With forceful war tactics, of course. Tactic 1: Using Your Body Against Itself - What Your Mind Doesn’t Want You To Know. The body burns fat for energy. So you must exert energy to burn fat. Your body stores fat for energy, so eat like you don’t want any extra fat. This is how you can use your mind (now filled with knowledge) to burn more fat by using the body’s natural method of living against itself. This is not cannibalism, this is smart living. Tactic 2: Treat Fat As A Friend. Do not be afraid of fat. Fat is good at times. Eat plenty of “good fats” because they are great for the heart. Omegas 3 - 6 - 9 are all fantastic for your health, as well as help mobilize even more fat, and are readily available for energy burning. Stay away from hydrogenated oils. These are actually more damaging than real fat. Without getting into the chemical breakdown of these oils, I will just say that they act more like free radicals in your body than actual food. Tactic 3: Learn To Accept Fat. Some people are more naturally bent toward being heavy. Others are bent toward being slimmer. The mind is a powerful thing and can reek havoc on those who are not content with the natural selection of their body. Learn to be confident in your skin, even if you are not as thin as you think you should be. Strive for healthy. You will live longer if you are healthy. Change the desires in your mind to do the best you can, but never challenge your body to be something it can’t ever be. But never settle for lazy, always strive; but be considerate of your body. Tactic 4: Liposuction is Not The Answer. Even though I am not in a position to tell you what to do, I can advise you not to get liposuction. That doesn’t defeat the problem, it just prolongs the issue. Your mind will remember every craving, every habit previous to the liposuction, and you’ll never learn to control yourself and work toward your goals. Learn how to shift your desires through goals and hard work so that you can meet those expectations in every day life, and never just settle for the easy task. Tactic 5: Work Smarter, Not Harder. If you lose weight too fast, you will ultimately gain it back. Don’t go on fad diets that promise quick results. Change your entire body by changing your entire lifestyle and eating. Your body will then come following. If you lose weight too quickly, you’re apt to gain back every ounce, even more! Change the way your body works by changing your habits, your routines, and your eating habits. Slowly your body will begin doing the work for you, and your mind and body will work together in harmony to create the body you’ve always dreamed of. Nothing came from those who didn’t work. If a farmer plants a seed, it doesn’t grow unless he waters it. And he waters it smarter than he does harder. Take the appropriate steps, and you will be rewarded. Take the easy path, and you’ll drown you seed, and never produce a crop. Want more information? Learn how to flatten your belly at my official blog: http://www.bellyfatology.com.
