Have Fun and be Creative - Get the Look for Less

By J T Taylor Hands up all those who have visited a Garden Centre or DIY Store looking for something to add that touch of wow to the garden. Lets face it, whats on offer is not exactly going to be unique is it? So instead of running with the crowd, why not go for something different! Go Green Have fun and be creative. Salvaging and recycling can be so much more than just composting green waste. Think of all the other items that are cast aside in the throes of so many re-vamps and make-overs: brick, stone, redundant furniture, old sinks, cast iron bathtubs, the list goes on. Real Rubbish Garden! At Chelsea a few years ago, the RSPBs Real Rubbish garden designed by Claire Whitehouse demonstrated how reclaimed and re-usable materials could be incorporated in a contemporary garden. Use some imagination Salvaging is all about using your imagination. Rather than throwing out items without a second thought, stop a minute and apply a bit of lateral thinking. Could it be recycled or re-used in other ways? We all make regular visits to our local tip to dispose of rubbish. How often do you stop and look at items others have thrown out? What treasures could you have missed? Plastic coleslaw and salad pots make excellent seed storage containers. Old toilet-roll centres are perfect for starting off broad bean seeds whose deep roots wont be disturbed when it comes to planting them out in their own bio-degradable cells. Old wooden pallets can be turned into the perfect compost bin (who says five into one, wont go!). Even the most unlikely items can be reborn; an old lavatory pan becomes a witty planter; a discarded bath becomes a herb garden. Its not really a new idea either. We all remember the ubiquitous white-washed split tyre planters that appeared everywhere in the seventies but its not so easy to do the whole cut-and-turn thing since the advent of steel belting but a couple of worn-out tyres makes a useful container for any plant thats a bit thuggish and likes to muscle in on its neighbours. I use mine to corral an unruly spread of mint whereas at CAT (The Centre for Alternative Technology at Macynlleth in Wales) they use a tyre stack as a composter. Small but nonetheless efficient. Create something different Its surprising how many old wheelbarrows you will come across on a visit to your local Council Tip A wheelbarrow provides plenty of scope for decorative planting and can usually be picked up for around a fiver. Itll be well-used and showing signs of age, which is perfect for the purpose. If youre feeling really industrious, you could give it a coat of Hammerite to make it look pretty, otherwise just drill or punch some drainage holes, plant up and enjoy. And an added bonus with a wheeled planter is if you fancy a change of scenery, its easy enough to move it around. Need a piece of art to create a focal point? An old push mower or lawn roller takes on a sculptural quality when set against a dry-stone wall and glimpsed through a blossom-clad arch. The same may be said for an old-fashioned horse-drawn ploughshare - make sure you have the space though. Dont overlook old furniture either. You could pick up an old chest for a few pounds and with a lick of paint it can be used to store hands tools, riddles, dibbers and the like and - with a bit of weather-proofing even turned into a tiered display area. When it comes to re-using and recycling we are only limited by our imagination. Discover that elusive bargain Having recently moved home and inherited a garden that beckons contemplation, I decided it was necessary to procure some seating that befitted the task. Disappointed at the sameness of the choices on offer I decided to search for an alternative that I found in the shape of a rather handsome bent-wood rocker. All it needs is some slight attention to a loose splat and a bit of refinishing in order to withstand the elements. Im looking forward to sitting it on the side lawn beneath the boughs of a knarled apple tree and shall inset some bricks (reclaimed of course) in the grass to avoid the rockers becoming entrenched. For 5.00 Ive bought my own little oasis of calm and tranquillity. Council Tips are not the only places to look of course. If you are looking for something with a bit of age and different Auction Houses and Salvage/Reclamation yards are a good place to start you could find Youll only find new ones in shops. There are reclamation and salvage yards, second-hand stores and even auction houses all of which are comparable to the fabled Aladdins cave. Salvage and reclamation is pretty big business these days and it pays to shop around. If you have a project in mind, particularly if you live in a period property, there is no better place to scout around to find authentic and original every-day objects and architectural features to breathe new life into your garden. Keep an eye out for weathered statuary and chimney pots that look terrific planted up or can be used as rhubarb forcers or celery blanchers. Fancy a bog garden? A cast iron bath and Im not suggesting some exotic 400 French jobbie, cheap an cheerful is the order of the day here - sunken into the ground (plug removed of course) is the perfect container. Most towns have an Auction house but be aware that there will be few bargains to be found on Antique or Collectable days. Sometimes you may find Specialist sales with a horticultural or agricultural bent and you may a find a bargain here but broadly speaking, a General Sale is your best bet. General sale days are great fun because the range of goods on offer is so wide, everything from ceramics to furniture and everything in between. Take advantage of the viewing opportunities and dont be afraid to ask the Saleroom Staff how much they think something might fetch and if they think it will be popular. With a bit of homework you may pick up a really bargain. Whether its an old wheelbarrow, planter, pot, chair or statue; reclaimed and recycled items add a touch of individuality and character to a garden and thats something you wont find on the shelves at any out-of-town mall. Whats in your garden? When it comes to recycling in the garden, dont forget the plants themselves. That Rose of Sharon may be the bane of your herbaceous border but to someone else, it represents a brilliant bit of instant ground cover so dig it out, pot it up and pass it on or even sell it at the Car Boot! Recycling is all about sustainability, all about making the very most out of what we have. So get involved. Visit your local tip, look for items to recycle and re-use in the garden. Go round reclamation yards, auction houses and even have another look in your own back yard. At worst, youll save some money and who knows, you may find a hidden gem. Whatever you do, have fun and rejoice in the fact that what youre doing is literally not costing the earth. Tim Taylor is a freelance writer and keen gardener. Career Job Satisfaction - Get Off the Treadmill - Exit Your Rat Race!

By Megan Tough Get Off the Treadmill - Exit Your Rat Race! We can all get in a rut from time to time. Who hasnt had a moment in their lives where youve asked yourself the question: Why am I doing this? Whether it’s who you’ve become, the business you are in, your career, relationships, where you live or all of the above - sometimes you realise you’re just not where you want to be and youre not sure how you got there! It sure feels like your own version of a rat race though. If where you want to be in your life is not where you are, then maybe it’s time for you to drop out of your very own rat race. We are conditioned into believing that we must continue to strive, to take more on, and to do more, in order to be successful. But this is a limited and ultimately self-defeating definition. If we can only be more successful by what and how much we do, then we have created our own treadmills to run on. 1. Redefine Success Redefining success for yourself can be the first step in taking a fresh perspective. Try this exercise by completing the following sentence. I know I am successful when. You may not complete the sentence with anything to do with work or material goods. Here are some examples. I know I am successful when. I laugh every day with my children I bounce out of bed enthusiastically every morning all of my relationships give me great joy I inspire others to make positive changes By redefining what we believe makes us successful, we begin to strive for different things in our lives. This can be instrumental in slowing down the treadmill enough for us to take stock of where we are. 2. Springclean your mind If you feel as though you dont have time for anything, especially thinking about ways to do things differently, its time for a time-out. When we are busy and occupied all the time, we are usually reacting to things going on around us, rather than acting out of choice. So make an active choice to take a rest, a vacation, talk it out with someone you trust, blow off steam, do whatever it takes to get some perspective about your situation. Just this simple step will make you feel more in control, and can help to streamline the energy you’ll need for the changes ahead. The idea is not to just get out of your rat race but to go towards a more fulfilling way of living 3. Get real The reality is that you cant change anyone elses behaviour but your own. So its a good time to stop wishing that people would act differently so that you could feel better. Also, its time to make alternative plans just in case you don’t win the lottery or get a salary increase. This sounds harsh, but people who wait for things to happen to them are usually waiting a long time. Don’t wait for chance or fate to step in. Figure out what it will cost (in time, energy, money, etc.) to make the changes you know you need to make. Then figure out what it will cost not to. 4. Pack light Theres something very cathartic about taking time to clean things out getting rid of the old to make way for the new. You could start with a room in your house, your email address list, or old beliefs that arent adding value to you any more. In every situation there is a good lesson to take with you, something of value to keep. Even if it’s only, ‘Well that’s a place I know I never want to be again’; there is something worth keeping. Any situation, and your perception of it, is part of who you are. Identify specifically what it is you want to keep and what you’ll leave behind. Be brutal. You may even miss some of the things you choose to leave behind thats all part of the process. What you will find is renewed energy for new things that you want to include in your life a great start to exiting your rat race and beginning on a new journey. 5. Create a map When was the last time you thought about where you wanted to be in 5 or 10 years time? We get so caught up in doing things - for the business, for work, for others things we think we should be doing, that we take no time to consider what we really want. Forget the race. Think journey. Take the time to think about yourself, and where you would like to be. Nobody elses map will do here its time to do some hard thinking for yourself. What are the core values that you’d like to base your life around? What do you love to do or to be? What gives you a sense of purpose? What do you stand for? What could you not be dissuaded from believing in, no matter what? If you had one life to live this time round what would you do with it? These are tough questions and their answers are part of the journey. Don’t freak or feel guilty if you don’t know the answers straight away. For the impatient and perfectionist people reading, this is not a test there is no pass or fail. So dont treat it like one. The more you know about yourself, the more you will be able to start drawing your own map. 6. Head for the Life! (not the lifestyle) Do you know what the difference is between having a life and maintaining a lifestyle? A lifestyle is something we are told we need by society, advertisers, and parents. Life’s luxuries, although nice to have, can be expensive financially and in the energy spent getting them. Perhaps the energy spent maintaining a lifestyle might be better used turning your life into an expression of who you are. A lifestyle buys comfort. A life buys satisfaction and contentment. The best bed in the world only makes for a comfortable sleepless night if you lack contentment. If your lifestyle impedes you being who you are then dump it. 7. Go for your ideal If it turns out that you drop out of your rat race and into your perfect life, would you even know it? Create a vision of where it would be, who you’re with, what you’re doing. Design it around your passions, beliefs, values and loves. Remember, just like spending your money, if you don’t know what you want from your life there’s plenty of people around who will be only too glad to tell you. 8. Look out for the rough bits. Choosing to live your life in your own way is tougher than staying in your rat race. People you know may be understanding or incredulous, and wont hesitate to give you their opinion. Temptations will abound to take a few laps round the old racecourse when the going gets tough. Our old comfort zones are traps waiting to lure us back into our old ways. By being aware of this and planning for how you’ll cope you will get through. Anything different can be scary. But it can also be fun too! 9. Enjoy the trip! You’ve recognised where you don’t want to be any longer and identified where you do. Now live where you are. Learn from the past and move on. Plan for the future but live in the present. You cant do anything about yesterday, so stop worrying about it. If you spend every minute think about tomorrow then youll never enjoy today. And that’s where all the action is! 10. Go for it. No more excuses. Nothing more to say. Just do it. Sometimes the only way to win a race - where there can be no winner - is to just stop running. Megan Tough, Director of Action Plus, is passionate about helping people enjoy their businesses. She works internationally with business owners to systematically remove the stress points from their business, giving them more time and space for - well -whatever they want! What Is The Best Medication For Acid Reflux?

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Richard_Smith] Richard Smith Sufferers of this condition have sought the best medication for acid reflux. But what is it? Firstly, let’s briefly touch on what causes acid reflux. Acid reflux, also known as GERD or gastroesophageal reflux disease, occurs when the lower esophageal sphincter (a valve at the bottom of the food pipe) fails and allows stomach acid to escape into the esophagus where its presence is felt as a painful burning sensation. So, the best medication for acid reflux should prevent acid from coming into contact with the esophagus. In times gone by, medicines have achieved this in different ways. For instance, antacids are made of chalk which is effective for “mopping up” and neutralising acidity so that if acid makes its way into the esophagus, it is nearly neutral in acidity (pH) and does not cause any bad symptoms. Later, H2 blockers were developed and were considered to be the best medication for acid reflux. They worked by cutting down production of stomach acid and therefore lowering the severity of acid reflux symptoms. In the past ten years however, H2 blockers have hardly been used due to a newer and better alternative - PPIs or proton pump inhibitors — these are now considered to be the best medication for acid reflux. PPIs are chemically very different to H2 blockers, though they also work by cutting acid production. Unlike their earlier counterparts, however, they cut acid production in the stomach by over 99%. Hence, their new title as the best medication for acid reflux. Like various antidepressants, PPIs have become cash cows for drug companies. In 2006, Nexium and Prevacid were the world’s 3rd and 4th biggest selling drugs, both of which are PPIs. Only cholesterol lowering drugs sold more. Opening a Dollar Store - Don’t Forget the Music!

By Bob Hamilton Are you opening a dollar store? If you are, then dont forget the music! The right music can result in higher sales and more repeat customers. Having the right music playing in the background can make you money. When preparing for opening a dollar store invest a small amount to set your store up for music. This can be accomplished by installing a relatively inexpensive sound system. Make sure that there are speakers (We found ceiling speakers to work best.) installed throughout the store. Spots without music will cause shoppers to unconsciously move on quickly without examining products and without selecting products for purchase. Pleasant music can keep shoppers inside your store for longer periods of time. The longer shoppers are in you store the more they spend. When opening a dollar store you will soon discover that this is true for the majority of your shoppers anyway. Pleasant welcoming music brings customers back. We actually found that shoppers who returned to our store frequently mentioned the music as one of the keys to making the experience pleasant and one of the reasons that they came back so soon. Each return trip resulted in more sales. When opening a dollar store return shoppers is one of the ways that you make a profit. A word of caution; dont allow the part time cashier who likes punk rock to pick your music. Also dont select music that will lull shoppers to sleep. You want music that will keep the shoppers in your store for as long as possible. You want music that will keep bringing them back after opening a dollar store. Select pleasant, middle of the road, easy listening music. The music isnt being selected because you or your employees want to hear a favorite song. It is being selected to as a component in your overall store shopping environment. Music is a key component in creating the shopping environment for your store. Install a sound system. Pick the right music. After opening a dollar store you will soon find that shoppers stay longer, they return more frequently and they are likely to spend more money. To Your Dollar Store Success! Government Loans - Get What You Are Due

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Joseph_Kenny]Joseph Kenny As a student you can obtain a substantial financial support from the federal government for your college tuition, books and laboratory fees. The loan accrues no interest during the time that you are legitimately enrolled as a student but will commence drawing interest upon graduation or whenever you leave college. This is the information given by all school aid advisors and is pretty much on the level. Even though the Soldier and Sailors Act of 1947 should protect you from the increase of interest after school, sometimes this doesn’t happen because the actual law is misinterpreted. Many administrators feel that the steady income from a military occupation precludes any advantage in the delay of paying back a government loan or in the reduction of the annual interest. It is the repayment phase in which many problems can occur. After the ‘no interest’ phase is over, the student loan can be sold by the Federal Government to state loan agencies. They in turn can then sell them to the highest bidder and in this manner the so called student loans can be quite expensive after the interest rates grow proportionately. The longer the student loan remains unpaid the larger it grows in size. My student loan was $3,000 but after almost fourteen years the total payback amount was over $16,000. You will understand my distrust of government programs to assist educational costs but until a few years ago it remained the only plan available. This is due to the fact that almost all government loans are administered by local financial institutions and not by government agents. This allows many of the government loans to be placed into delinquent status when this should not happen. It also permits a ratchet of the loan interest to regular consumer rates. A more acceptable way to acquire government assistance is through the military’s G.I. Bill. I finished my education thanks to the old G.I. Bill Act of 1945-1975, a very gracious gift from a grateful nation. The current bill only covers approximately $10,000 which is a matching fund grant. Educational expenses today from a quality university will cost anywhere from $18,000 - $28,000 per semester. These will only cover tuition, books, room and board. Any other expense would have to come from regular employment or from scholarships and grants. Under certain circumstances an education can be paid through government grants which have no interest or aren’t repayable. They must be applied to using published guidelines available through the government or the school grant administrator. These grants have a specific deadline by which they must be solicited. They are competitive and must certain published criteria. Again the local university or college is the administrator of the grant and may be in competition with the student for those funds. There are competitive scholarships sponsored by academic societies, sororities, fraternities which provide either complete or partial scholarships which you can complete to defray educational expenses. Other groups such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Foreign Legion offer substantial scholarships both to service personnel and to the children of veterans. Police and firemen fraternities, nurses organizations and many more offer scholarships to aid college completion. Essentially government loans exist to assist in the education of its’ citizens. However, they do not exist as a right but as a benefit. Buy Discount Flowers Online

By Josh Riverside Flower businesses are a profitable venture and many companies offer regular discounts to attract customers. Buying discount flowers online should not be a hasty action. It is important for customers to make necessary enquiries in order to find an affordable and feasible deal. Online discount flower deals are available to larger group of people as compared to local store discounts. Such international trade depends upon state laws as well as a company’s operational area. When buying discount flowers online, potential customers may select from a wide range. This includes roses, gladioli, tulips, and orchids. It is possible to make email enquiries regarding discount flowers, because a number of companies may not advertise such offers. An effective method of buying discount flowers online is to use flower codes, coupons and deals. These discount flower codes are random redeemable vouchers, and have certain numbers attached to them. When making an online purchase, buyers need to provide these codes as they reduce purchase costs instantly. A number of user friendly online sites conduct searches, and deliver online coupons, coupon codes, and deals directly to listed customers, or they can be found through individual searches. Online discount rates are also available in case of wholesale or minimum order flower purchases. Bulk purchases reduce transportation and packaging expenses, and this reduces purchase costs considerably. When buying discount flowers online, customers need to compare various sources. This helps analyze purchase costs, terms and conditions and refunds. When considering discount flower purchase online, customers may need to pay less, as compared to discount flower purchases from local stores. This is because online stores incur minimum overhead expenses, as they are not required to pay store rentals deposits and employee salaries. For this reason, online businesses are able to offer reduced rates. When buying discount flowers online, it is important to be attentive to a company’s reputation, delivery history and replacement policies in case of damaged delivery. Long Distance Relationship - Distance Breeds Contempt or Love?

By Michael Douglas Long-distance relationship. For many this could be the perfect situation. After all, it has the benefits of being in a relationship - complete with the feeling of companionship and emotional support. At the same time, the people concerned don’t have to face arguments that emerge out of itsy-bitsy issues. Relationship gurus believe that couples who are involved in a long distance relationship have actually better communication, trust each other more and fight less on trivial issues, as they are not involved in the day-to-day life of their partner. This creates a kind of a closeness that is not generally seen in those who see each other daily and squabble over small issues. But, it’s not all that easy to maintain such a relationship. After all, can it truly be a relationship where you do not actually get to see each other everyday. Not to forget, not being able to help or support your partner when he or she is in trouble? And what about the trust factor can you be faithful when your loved one is not there with you? Absence makes the heart grow fonder: Here is what we find out when we conduct a general survey about the same…. Remarks Jasson Morris, a DU student, “Such a relationship varies from person to person. It lasts longer if you give quality time to your partner, without interfering too much in each other’s life. For me, there is nothing better than a long-distance relationship.” Adds Linda Anderson, a BPO executive, “It is undoubtedly a great way of being involved. For me, the emotional quotient of such a relationship is really high and that’s what matters the most to me. But, the problem is that you can’t trust guys if they are far away. So, I am apprehensive about the future since I’m not sure if my boyfriend is really faithful to me.” History student Carolyn, who is also in a long-distance relationship says, “If your partner is not interfering in your daily life, then you are truly blessed. The best part is that in his absence I can keep having crushes, which I feel is a very healthy sign. It helps in keeping the romance alive between both of us, as I am always in a romantic mood. So, I talk about my partner in conversations with other friends and wear something that reminds me of him.” Adds Jonathan, “I have noticed that people in such relationships are romantics and generally happy. As a result, they spread love and affection around themselves too. On the contrary; couples who are together everyday are often in a bad mood due to constant fighting.” How to make a long distance relationship work? Establish some ground rules Get everything out in the open, so no one feels they are sneaking around. Talk about whether you can see other people romantically and how often you would like to speak to each other. Snail-mail is an inexpensive way to stay in touch The recipient can keep the letter and read it any time they need a burst of love. Of course, you can send more than letters. You could send a taped message, or a CD that alternates between your message and some favorite songs. Arrange to watch a TV programme or a movie together That way, you can experience the enjoyment simultaneously, even though you’re miles apart. Don’t fight over small problems Since you can’t talk as often as you like, everything becomes magnified. Therefore, make sure that you won’t fight over small problems. When you are in this kind of a relationship, avoid fighting over trivial issues. A balancing act: But, there is also a school of thought that thinks such relationships are not a good idea. Says Rob Miller, a Commerce student, “How can one even think of a relationship without spending time with each other? Such relationships are based on illusions about each other, and cannot last long.” Sums up psychiatrist Jeff Smith, “Attraction is a major factor in keeping alive a relationship. A couple that lives together maintains communication, and spends time together that, leads to a lot of closeness between the couple. Also, there are times when you just want your partner to be there and help you out in times of trouble. Keeping a relationship alive is not easy when there is a lot of distance involved in it. That, however, doesn’t mean that there is something wrong if you are in a long distance relationship. Just make sure that your partner feels involved in your life. At the same time, one should also take care and understand the limits and not start ruling the other person’s life sitting in a distant land.” Michael Douglas is a relationship expert and he is an avid believer of long distance relationship. He owns a website Love-Lectures.com where he provides love relationship tips and free dating advice to help you in building healthy and successful relationships. Hammock Chairs - Relax in Style

By Christopher Luck I know what a hammock is, but what is a hammock chair? I have seen them advertised on line, but I really had no idea what one was. Turns out they are a hot trend in outdoor seating that offer functional flexibility in a variety of styles, colors, and materials. A hammock chair is usually great in just about any setting. It is also adds to the dcor of your room or patio. They come in a variety of styles and offer a variety of uses. Traditionally, both hammocks and hammock chairs are made of rope. A hammock chair looks very similar to a traditional hammock. The main difference is the way it is positioned. Hammock chairs hang down in roughly the shape of a traditional hammock only they offer a perfect little cradle in which you can sit down. You still sink into them like with a regular hammock, but they allow you to sit up, which makes them more functional. There are a number of situations where hammock chairs make wonderful sense. They are much more conducive, because you are sitting upright, to reading. If you want to enjoy the comfort of a hammock while lounging and reading, but without lying down then think about a hammock chair. Also, if you are going to be conversing with others, it might be perceived as odd if you were lay down in a hammock. With a hammock chair, though, you can sit upright and converse with your guests easily. So where do you get a hammock chair? They are actually pretty popular and easy to find. First of all, though, you should figure out if you want just a rope hammock chair, one with cushions, or one covered in fabric. It is all about personal preference, so just think about what you might like, or try them out. To purchase a hammock chair, you can check on line as there are plenty of websites that sell them for delivery. In addition, most outdoor life stores, home stores, and patio furniture stores offer hammock chairs for sale. The prices, sizes, and looks of the chairs vary so greatly, though, that you should take your time in your search. Make sure you find the right chair, of the right size, with the right look, and at the right price to fit your needs. Lastly, before you do anything else, make sure you know how you are going to hang your hammock chair. If you are putting it inside, you should either anchor it into a joist in the ceiling or buy a hammock chair stand that is made to hold it anywhere. Outside, or on the patio, the stand may be your best bet of consistent and easy hanging. Hammocks have always been popular for lying down and napping outside. Now, though, thanks to the popularity of the hammock chair, that comfort has been brought to seating. In addition, they are stylish and can be found so that they match up with any dcor in any home. So, if you like comfort and functionality, you may want to look into getting your very own hammock chair. Wedding Disasters and How to Avoid Them - Part II

By Jean Neuhart Wedding disasters come in many forms from problems that are fixable such as the wrong flower in your bouquet, lipstick on your wedding gown, or the dj playing the wrong song for the first dance, to the necessity of major re-vamping of the day itself because of rain storms, blizzards and power outages, or the sudden illness of a member of the wedding party or a parent. No, deciding now to elope is probably NOT the best solution. However, there are some things that you can do to keep the stress levels down, and help avoid a traumatic meltdown should something not go as planned. Bring ahead. Are you allowed to bring ceremony items during the rehearsal and leave them overnight? If so, bring your gown, shoes and accessories (have your bridesmaids do so as well). Box up your guest book, pen, unity candle and other ceremony accessories, and bring them to the rehearsal as well. You will be less likely to forget anything by calmly putting things together, rather than trying to grab everything on Saturday morning and rush out the door so you can be on time. Have quick fix tools on hand. Have a wedding day emergency kit available. Youll want to include a basic sewing kit, tape, glue, aspirin, band-aids, spot cleaner (in case of spilled wine or wayward lipstick), nail file and make up for touch-ups Have realistic expectations for your wedding day. Be aware of what can potentially happen. Keep things in perspective. And have a sense of humor. Some things are inevitable. A wedding cake at an outdoor reception will attract bugs. Others things may be upsetting at the time, but in reality not the end of the world - the periwinkle ribbon that you wanted in your bouquet looks too lavender, the vegetable medley is served instead of the green bean almondine. Youre still getting married to the love of your life, so when you look back on this in one, five, or ten years will it really be that bad? Extreme cases. Sadly, there are some disasters that cannot be foreseen, such as the sudden blizzard or rain storm that literally washes away all possibility of planned perfection. Instead, in these types of extreme cases, the only thing to do is to go with the flow. Depending on how extreme the weather is, airports may be closed, and counties may be on a Level 3 - Drive Only in an Emergency, alert, and many of your guests wont be able to make it. Power may be out, so electricity is non-existent. Without electric, your caterer and musicians/dj wont be able to provide their services. It wont be the wedding of your dreams, nor the one youve just spent many months planning, but when you wake up tomorrow, youll be just as married to the love of your life.
